Our Groups: Parish Finance Committee The financial complexities of running a modern parish are very soon apparent to anyone involved in parish life. Canon law requires that a Finance Committee is to be established ine very parish in order to act as an advisory body to the parish priest int he administration of the temporal goods of the parish. Members are to assist the parish priest in his task of administering the parish finances, maintaining parish properties, planning for future capital works and raising the necessary funds. The parish of St Joseph the Worker is fortunate to have a body of four competent people who wisely assist the parish priest in both maintaining the excellent standard of parish facilities with a keen eye of future needs and provisions.
